1. Medical Scientific Liaison

Job Description:

Field-based position responsible for implementation of activities for establishment of scientific leadership of AstraZeneca. This includes development and enhancement of professional relationships with healthcare professionals, building deep scientific understanding of AstraZeneca compounds. Driving positive opinions for the scientific and clinical value of AZ compounds for patients’ needs. Deliver medical education and clinical support to medical professionals, training sales teams and involvement in development of brand strategy. The position may also be involved in review of product materials and response to medical queries 

Job requirements and specifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree or working towards a professional qualification (MD / PHD)

 Thorough knowledge or experience of the pharmaceutical industry and the area of field medical liaisons

 Ability to interact and manage a range of stakeholders both internally and externally

 Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales and marketing

2. Product Specialist- Oncology- Part Time

Job Description:

 Monitors all aspects of a product lifecycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing.

 Stays abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position.

 Interfaces with project managers and clients to determine the product's future direction.

 Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

 Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

 Performs a variety of tasks.

 May lead and direct the work of others.

Job requirements and specifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree or working towards a professional qualification (MD / PHD)

 Oncology experience required.

3. Clinical Research Associate

Job Description:

 Obtain and maintain essential documentation in compliance with ICH-GCP, AZ Procedural Documents and local regulations both in the office and at site.

 Actively participate in local Study Delivery Team meetings.

 Contribute to the selection of potential investigators.

 Train, support and advise Investigators and site staff in study related matters.

 Contribute to national Investigators meetings.

 Initiate, monitor and close study sites in compliance with AZ Procedural Documents. Share information on patient recruitment and study site progress within local Study Delivery Team.

 Drive performance at the sites. Proactively identify study-related issues and escalates as appropriate.

 Update IMPACT and other systems with data from centres as per required timelines.

 Manage study supplies (ISF, CRF, etc), drug supplies and drug accountability at study sites.

 Perform source data verification according to SDV plan.

 Ensure data query resolution.

 Ensure accurate and timely reporting of Serious Adverse Events.

 Contribute to process improvements, knowledge transfer and best practice sharing.

 Actively share applicable information that may be relevant to Marketing & Sales and the MC Medical Department and in accordance with Corporate Ethical guidelines.

Job requirements and specifications:

 University degree in related discipline, preferably in life science, or equivalent qualification.

 Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English.

 Excellent knowledge of international guidelines ICH/GCP, basic knowledge of GMP/GDP.

 Good knowledge of relevant local regulations.

 Good medical knowledge in relevant AZ Therapeutic Areas.

 Basic understanding of the drug development process.

 Good understanding of Clinical Study Management including monitoring, study drug handling and data management.

 Ability to travel nationally as required.

4. Medical Sales Representative- Respiratory and GIT

Job Description:

 Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams.

 organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff

 Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff.

 Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.

 Keeping up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.

 Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products.

 Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the National Health Service (NHS), anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly.

 Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector.
