AmCham Egypt is seeking a talented & motivated university graduate who will be responsible for conducting financial transactions (cash & cheques & online) & follow-up processes related to the collection of financial checks.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the right candidate will assume the following responsibilities:
- Conduct cash or check transactions with customers, ensuring accurate payment processing and providing them with receipts.
- Perform daily reconciliation of all payments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Generate daily cash reports summarizing the transactions.
- Count and submit cash and supporting documentation on time.
- Monitor cash receipt functions to identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain records of various transactions, including refunds, voids, and cash drawer reconciliations.
- Count cash receipts at the end of each business day.
- Safely store cash and checks in a secure location until they are deposited.
- Process all payment batches into the accounting system following established procedures.
- Take responsibility for following up on the collection of financial checks
