Aicha is an autism researcher & advocate, and global mental health consultant.
Aicha has left an indelible mark in the world of mental health and advocacy. Since her graduation from the Faculty of Biotechnology in 2009, her journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
Aicha's academic achievements speak volumes, with a Master's from Greenwich University and a PhD in Clinical Neuroscience/Psychiatry from the University of Cambridge.
Beyond the lab, Aicha holds key positions as a research fellow at the University of Cambridge, a Grant Expert at Grantify, and a consultant with the WHO (EMRO) focusing on policies for children with developmental difficulties.
Her global reach includes roles with EDUCAUS in researching autism education policies across Europe and as a scholar at the Lisbon Institute of Global Mental Health with a focus on mental health policies in low and middle-income countries, especially in the MENA region.
